Community Events: Heritage Hall Museum

Programming Year-Round, (Open May 1st - Oct 1st, or by appointment)

One of the region's most valued cultural assets, the rich heritage of the region is captured within this unique series of buildings. There are thousands of historic items within its walls - from automobiles, to clothing, to furniture and farm equipment.

Heritage Hall Museum tells the story of the Germans from Russia groups that settled in the Freeman area through thousands of artifacts, from automobiles and farm equipment to home furnishings and personal items. Four buildings dating from the early history of Freeman are included in the Heritage Hall Museum Complex. A large historical library and archives compliments the historical artifacts and allows researchers and family history buffs to dig deeper for the stories and details oft forgotten.
